   when i lived in georgia i spoke with one of the physicians from the cdc
who went to russia after that incident ( the baby's having been infected and
the mother's contracting from the babies). I contacted him as I was working
with a mother adopting who wanted th bf and was concern. he felt that a)
there were many pieces of the incident in russia that we in the states were
not and would not become privy to but the "real" picture was very different
from the published one ( this is rather usual) and he further felt that the
mom was not at significant risk.
