I have a question regarding the transferance of immunity mom to baby through
breast milk. If the mom has actually had a disease, such as measles or mumps,
will the protection she passes to her child be different than if her
immunity is from the vaccines? If lab work shows that her immunity which she
acquired through vaccination has worn off, does that mean she can pass no
protection on?

TIA,
Julie Brill, who is tired and hoping that her questions make some sense
