Yes, you're not supposed to store the milk with meds - our Nursery Supervisor
also told us.
We bought a small dorm-sized refrigerator - but now it's too small (don't know
if this is good or bad, hate to have so many babies in NICU, but glad moms are
pumping!

Transporting is done in whatever cooler mom has - we need to be very careful as
some bring frozen milk and we want to keep it that way until needed (tropical
temperatures, you know). If it is fresh milk, we still are careful - and I
always ask moms to bring their kits in and pump milk - using our Lactina pumps
free of charge - at the hospital that we can give the babies while it's still
warm from her. This makes them feel very special, and they enjoy seeing the
nurses make a fuss over their efforts. We use the older milk between visits,
but try to give babies some "really fresh" milk every day.
