The procedure for enlarging the child's rectum sounds to me like child abuse.
There is such a thing as anal stenosis but this is usually followed by
pediatric surgeons who use metal tools in progressively larger sizes and do
not TRY to make it bleed.  EIther the story has different details or I would
find another pediatrician (If the insurance ompany lets themm......)
