hanks for the clarification. If the tongue is doing what it is supposed to do
interms of function then there is perhaps something else going on?

I can't remember the details of the case now, but sometmes there is cranial
nerve lmalfunction as a result of head compression or head asymmetries or
structural problems related to the use of forceps, vacuum extractor or fundal
pressure, or an unuasual lie in utero.

Are you sure it is the tongue that is the problem?
