Although I've been using this campaign to sneak in breastfeeding information,
I also tell moms that it's fine to sleep with their babies, that babies will
be on their sides in this scenario. The women nudge their boyfriends in the
ribs-see, I TOLD you it was OK to sleep with baby!
I do warn them not to leave babies alon e on the bed so that they don't get
wedged under headboards. I like to temper everything by then mentioning that
they check the hand me down cribs and cradles to see that the bars are far
enough apart. In my sneaky way, I want them to see the hazards that are
possible in the wonderful crib as well.
the babies in the brochures look so lonely all by themselves, I just HAVE to
tell moms about the alternatives!
