Hi all.  Have gotten closer to the completion of our home page showing
breastfeeding conferences (and more).  I need for some of you to go ahead
and send me some information on conf. and on books, slide sets, teaching
materials, videos, etc. you'd like to sell, so we have some text to put on
the pages.  Those of you who have courses or educational programs, and those
of you who are developing mentoring plans can also contact me.

As soon as the page is really up, there will be drop-down dialog boxes so
that as you will be told what specific information to post.  You can re-post
using the "real" format as soon as we de-bug.  For now, we need filler to
get on the pages to make sure the jumps work, etc.  So if you want to
advertise a conf. send title of conftime, date, location, speakers,
sponsoring organization (no formula $ please) and which and how many CEUs
are available.  In a few words, describe the main thrust of the offering. Be
sure to list a contact person with name, phone, fax and e-mail numbers so
people can get more info.  Our list will not be set up to put people in
contact with each other -- just to post the info. The conf. page will be
divided by geographical regions by continent, altho the US will be
sub-divided East and West.

If you are selling something, list title, type product, author(s), creation
or copyright date.  Put brief (25 wds or less) description of product and
full info on price and contact person.

Mentoring relationships, name, credentials and experience, location, very
brief description of how you work it (you come to them, they come to you, by
mail with occasional in-person visits, etc)  As cost may be negotiable just
give complete contact info. so you can discuss privately.

Courses, similarly:  Location, teachers, cost, length of course,
requirements to enroll, exit requirements.

This has turned out to be way harder than I thought it would be, so
hopefully everyone will be patient with my recent crankiness and with this
homepage as we work the kinks out of it.

Any of you who want to establish links with Lactnews On-Line let me know.
I'll keep everyone posted and we hope to be up within a week or so.
