After thinking it over for a few days...in my typical way of doing things, I
agree with the several comments here that urge the nursing student to go at
it hoping for a win-win situation. I would, after giving it thought, be able
to ASSUME that the instructor wanted more information..and then open a
discussion on this subject, of course having all the studies in my backpack
or briefcase, whichever...LLLI's Facts sheets are a good place to start...as
someone else mentioned.
I usually react with anger at this type of thing...because I am TIRED of it,
after 11 years of it. However, I agree that a kinder , gentler approach
would probably catch more flies than vinegar, as my father would say..
