    a couple of thoughts.... blood in stool is red or brown? if it is brown
then is is from somewhere after the stomach....

     i recall hearing an allergist from another country speak about doing
scratch tests on infants and hefelt strongly that one can get accurate
information even at this stg. If it is an allergy then this might be less
time intensive than starving mom....

     assuming you have but ask again... vitamins, supplements, baby,
mom....soaps detergents, fabric softners....

    citrus?

    look at a rotation diet .. this would allow her to eat but ensure no
build up.....

    let us knoww.....keep in mind how sick this child would be on the other
stuff....
