One of the vegetarian moms called me with a question - she is breastfeeding her
12 mo old, but wants to begin to feed him from her regular vegetarian diet which
includes tofu. She has heard of the presence of estrogen in soy milk formula
and is wondering if she should avoid giving tofu for her baby for the same
reason?
I am niether a nutritionist nor a vegetarian - but hope this is a question
appropriate for LactNet as I can not Participate in another "net" - if I want
to keep my husband!

Please e-mail me privately as I'm not caught up yet (up to March 7)
