No, I wasn't kidding about scheduled feedings and blood sugar levels. quoted
directly from the book, which, by the way, Deb, is written by Gary and Anne
Marie Ezzo. Their qualifications? He was a youth pastor in a large church
in CA, she was a pediatric nurse about 26 years ago for a short time before
their two daughters were born. Compare those qualifications with another
person who writes on bf & parenting: Pediatrician, father of 8, wife a
nurse, LLLleader and IBCLC...hmm...
And no, there are no references to back up his statements. It is HIS
philosophy, pure and simple.
I wonder how low the blood sugar has to get before one is hungry? In that
case, hypoglycemics are always hungry, and diabetics are never hungry unless
they have taken too much insulin, right? And about 1/2 hour after they have
a shot of regular insulin, they are starving. Makes sense to me.... about
as much sense as the rest of their stuff on breastfeeding.

to get a new furnace.....and wondering why we didn't do it in August when it
was 90 degrees outside)
