Hi, all: Just got a question (third hand) from a colleague, about an
8-month-old girl who had blood in her diaper one week after breastfeeding
was stopped. Apparently, the child was worked up, including ruling out
abuse. The mother was apparently told that this may be withdrawal
bleeding after weaning. The mother was not on any hormones. Any one
ever have a case like this? TIA, Alicia. [log in to unmask]
