To all who object to noisy babies and inconsiderate mothers - I agree that
part of meeting your baby's needs may mean missing PART of a conference. That
doesn't mean that ALL mothers of young children should automatically be
barred from all conferences. Firm guidelines about when a baby should be
taken out of a session (possibly to another caregiver) and sitting near an
exit are reasonable compromises. Ignoring the needs of a fussy or bored child
is not appropriate either. It doesn't have to be US against THEM.
