Our new French subscriber (welcome !) asked about the success of BFHI in
other industrialised countries. Here we have had two hospitals accredited,
before WHO said we were capable of assessing ourselves. As far as I know
most maternity services have applied (well every one I've been to lately
in Sydney), but a body to assess them is yet to be announced. I will try to
chase up more info. My local hospital was very positive about it.
