Jill,
I have found that when cutting syringes that partially filling them with very
hot water for a few minutes helps to make them more pliable and gives a less
jagged cut. I use either a very sharp knife or a one-sided razor blade. I
also take the size of the mother's nipples into consideration. Some do well
with 12 cc syringes while others are more comfortable with the 20 cc size.
