Thankyou to everyone who shared information and personal stories with me. The
basic advice was for her to see an endocrinologist. Since she is pregnant the
endocrinologists won't see her and refer her to a high-risk specialist OB. So
that is where she is now. She is getting medical care for which she
recognizes a need.
