In Quebec (still a province of Canada, until the next referendum ...),
bfing mothers receive $70 more a month, while formula-feeding mothers
receive the difference between the cost of formula and the cost of
regular cow milk.  This as an answer to the dilemma of how to promote bf,
while protecting the babies of mothers who had already decided to give
formula.
