I am an LC working in an NICU. Cupfeeding is currently being discussed by
the nursing staff both in the normal nursery and NICU. I am wondering how
wide spread is this method of feeding. Is anyone doing research in this
area? What are the advantages of cupfeeding over other supplemental
feeding options? Are there disadvantages? Are there differences between
cupfeeding term infants and preterm infants?
