The Nursing Mothers' Association of Australia presents Mother-Friendly
Workplace Award certificates, usually in World Breastfeeding Week when the
press is most receptive to such news items. The certificates are sponsored
by a company which manufactures breast pumps. Hope this helps.
NMAA is having its annual strategic planning conference this weekend. A
great challenge facing us is the high proportion of Members who don't renew
after one year. It seem that after they have weaned, they see us as
irrelevant in their lives. Does anyone out there have any bright ideas on
how to encourage people to support breastfeeding support organisations
through continued membership as their babies grow?
I will need your thoughts in the next 36 hours, after which I shall have to
reluctatntly set no mail.
TIA.
Lesley McBurney, Brisbane, Queensland.
PS. See you in Melbourne, Joy.
