As a rental station myself, with two partners, we have in fact received info
re: the newest Medela pump.  We have ordered some, and I have been told my
our rep that it is NOT equivalent to a Lactina. It is NOT recommended for
NICU babies/mothers. However, when I called to order it, the person on the
phone told me that the suction was equivalent. This was interesting...

I know that it cannot be the same pump, due to price discrepancies.  I was
under the impression that it was intended for LCs, and that there was a
delay while they are making this pump.

They have a lot of orders for it now, I understand.

I think that if anyone has a question about this pump, or any product, that
they would do well to call and ask for info. We received info, and also ,
when we asked them, we asked for 150 flyers describing this new product.
