I have three short unrelated questions to bounce off you marvellous folks.
First, can a mom have a perm while breastfeeding? Our gut feeling amongst a
few L.C.'s in town is YES, but we could not find any documentation . Second,
one of the clients at our C.H.C. clinic has a 2 1/2yr. old who has just been
diagnosed with a severe peanut allergy. The specialist says probably the
result of mother consuming large amts. of p.b. while breastfeeding. Mom
feels bad, (loved her b.f. experience and her p.b.). I also believe
sensitization could have occurred during pregnancy. Any comments on
likelihood of one vs. other occurance. (No previous history of problems).
Lastly, Any L.C.'s on-line working in a Community Health Center (C.H.C)? If
so, Please E-mail me privately, @:

Diana, who isn't certain if mixing messages on Lactnet is as bad as giving
mixed messages. Let me know, I'm still new at this.
