Dear Denise,
This baby sounds like it has a neuro or other sucking problem. Please get a
second opinion from an osteopath (D.O.) trained in cranial-sacral therapy and
an oralmotor specialist. You're right - this is not normal, and may be the
tip of a more complex iceberg.
