Marie-
I took the exam last year without any formal study course at all. I was
a LLL leader for 21 years before taking the exam. What I did to study
was read the entire LLL LC series, Riordan and Auerbach, Ruth Lawrence
and some original literature on topics that had caught my interest in the
last few months before the exam. I only started preparing in April. I
also went to the LLL conference and took only CERP sessions. I don't at
all think that I am brilliant or even especially knowledgable. I am
presenting these details to reassure people who think that a formal
course is necessary.
