Hello - One of the LCs at my local hospital is presenting a session on weaning
at a state-sponsored Breasfeeding Promotion Workshop April 11th (audience
will primarily be nurses). Since part of her message will be that breastfeeding
older babies/toddlers is a normal, natural, healthy choice, she'd like
to have slides of mothers nursing older babies & toddlers projected behind
her while she speaks. Unfortunately, our LLL group has only newborns & young
babies right now, and my co-Leader and I have toddlers who have already weaned.
If any of you have slides you'd be willing to share, or if you are planning to
take slides in the next few weeks and wouldn't mind taking an extra, she
promises to take good care of them and return them to you. Her name is Janice
Wood, and she is a truly marvelous person (and one of the driving forces behind
getting our hospital certified Baby Friendly.)

Please e-mail privately and we can figure out logistics.
Gratefully,

Kate Pennington, LLLL in chilly Newcastle, Maine
