Thank you for your letter to Woman's Day.  We are always
pleased to hear our readers' reactions to articles.

You are among the many of have written to remind us that
breastfeeding plays a role in prevention of breast cancer.
However, the focus of our article was to list the top ten ways
for every woman to prevent breast cancer and, although there
is research indicting that breastfeeding plays a role in
preventing breast cancer, it is of course limited to women who
have children.

We certainly would include breastfeeding in any article we do
that is specifically aimed at mothers and we appreciate your
bringing it to our attention.
