Thank you, Sandy Greer, for bringing up Golden Seal - it sent me
scampering to my favorite herbal medicine book to look it up (the
name is so interesting!). Guess what? Golden Seal is an oxytocic!
Besides Golden Seal as particularly effective oxytocics are Blue
Cohosh and Squaw Vine; less effective are Rue and Beth Root (see
what I mean about the names?). Rita I., are you there? Do you
have any experience with herbs as oxytocics? Anyone else?
