I, too, love the "incidental" references to breastfeeding in films. This is how I would prefer to see it depicted, as the cultural norm as well as the biologics norm. Now, how about breastfeeding references in novels? I just finished reading a lightheaded novel by Judith McNaught called, "Perfect." In the end, the heroine marries the hero and they have a baby (all together now . . . ahhhh!) There is a lovely scene showing her nursing her son in the hospital room - no fuss, just "this is what mothers do."
