Hi 'Netters -
Karen told you only part of the story of my daughter Hannah ("BFZealot")'s
wedding last Saturday. 3-year old Carrie provided the comic relief by
insisting that her flower basket contain Halloween candy instead of rose
petals, then proceeded to eat the candy and hand the wrappers to her mother.
How's this for a record: every baby and child who attended the wedding - I
counted 13 or 14, all from the Bride's side - was breastfed a long time or is
still breastfeeding. Also present were 6 LCs, 2 LLL Leaders and several LLL
moms. So there you have it - 100% of the children present at this wedding
were breastfed. Is this a step toward making BF the cultural norm, or what???
I'm getting back to work now that the house is really, really clean.
