Someone posted wanting to know about a study which demonstrated rice cereal
didn't make babies sleep longer. I recall reading about that in a newsletter
from the Children's Nutrition Research Center (a USDA lab in Houston.) I bet
Judy Hopkinson knows the answer. I will search my files at the office today
and post if I can find.

BTW. A very difficult case I worked on with mom and baby with multiple
allergies began when rice cereal was added to babies diet at about 3.5 mo pp.
 Terrible eczema.

Also rice is one of the few US grown crops on which dioxin containing
herbicides (weed killers) can still be sprayed. That was true last time I
checked on this fact. I hope it's changed by now. Anyone know? Kathy D.
maybe some of the Aggies at Tx A&M would know. Anyway, when I do starting
solid lectures I always suggest getting organically grown rice cereals.
