Could this "expert" be the same person who wrote the article (August,
'95 "How do you deal with a crying baby?" who claims that it's a
"mistake to offer food to a fussy baby who ate not long ago, because
using food as a soothing strategy interferes with the establishment of a
normal feeding schedule" Where do they find these "experts"????? This
information might apply to udder-milk fed babies, but, of course, no
distinction is made here. Also, the first thing you see when you open
the front page of this issue, is a two page ad for J&J's "Healthfl--
bottles" including two full page photo's of bottles. This could easily
be converted to a beautiful ad for breastfeeding--just look at it & use
your imaginations.
All I can say about "American B-by" magazine is "You get what you pay for"!
