I just read Kay Hoover's letter in the new JHL, about the wide (130-150
degree) angle at the corner of a nursing baby's mouth.
A mother whom I had helped by phone said, "I think we have this right.
But tell me: when my baby is nursing, should his mouth look the way it
looks when you're kissing your grandmother... or kissing your lover?"
"Kissing your lover," I told her. "Okay, we got it," she said.
