I recall reading that baking soda could cause hypernatremia and could be
dangerous. Might want to be cautious with this one.

This is available in the US, sold by mulitlevel distributors (for anyone who
is interested, I'd be happy to e-mail the product info privately). I have
asked a local seller repeatedly for any information from a peer reviewed
journal on safety and/or effectiveness. I have yet to see any. Is there
any information in Australia from Journals on safety or effectiveness?
