   sometimes, depending on the audience, I share with parents that sometimes
even when our children are infants we as parents must make decisions for them
on what we know is best.. that may not be what is easiest or the most fun or
what we want....but it is what we know is best.

   car seats are a drag but we would not consider taking an infant in the car
without...

   i recently worked with a father who was concerned that learning the bf was
stresfull and maybe they would be better off with the bottle....they had an
older child and i used the analogy of watching that child learn to walk.. it
really is difficult to watch your child fall but we must elt them fall so
that they can walk...tough but necessary.
