I saw this recently as well. A mom with a classic case of nipple yeast had
tried using nystatin but found that it burned when she applied it, and the
yeast did not go away. After I switched her to lotrimon, she called me
gratefully to say that the lotrimon did not hurt her AND the yeast was
receding....
