A physician in our local hospital NICU told me once that they were great on
Breast **milk** but that they were lousy on **breast**
*********feeding***************. The feeding part is where the system often
breaks down, and where emphasis is not placed. In my experience a lot of
people really want Dad to feed baby because they are not prepared for the
level of intensity that motherhood brings. People are not ready for it, and
want to jettison some of it asap. I felt this way initially with my
first,....overwhelmed and exhausted, and unprepared.
Parenting...the hardest job in the world and the one we are least prepared for.
