Hi, all. Did someone already post about an article in the
November 1995 FDA Consumer Magazine entitled "News About Breast
Implants"? I tend to skip these posts because I don't live in the
States, so forgive my being extra-sclerotic. No mention of
breastfeeding at all in the article, mainly concerned with
autoimmune and connective tissue diseases - not in "Other
Concerns" (breast cancer), not in "Known Risks", not in "Possible
Risks". Pity. It's as if breastfeeding doesn't exist. Or maybe
women breastfeed with their elbows.... They give a "breast
implant information line": 1-800-532-4440. I bet you didn't
realize that 800 numbers can't be reached outside of the
States...... Boy, did I deflate. Sic 'em! Judy Knopf, stuck in
Israel with no 800 access.....(but oh, my, the weather has been
gorgeous lately)
