According to Deepak Chopra, Sesame oil is bacteriostatic and a fungicide. He
talks about using it as a mouth "wash" to liven up the taste buds.  Someone
told me that they were aware of it being used to treat thrush, but that the
oil was brought just to a boil prior to use (not each time - a quantity of
the oil was heat treated and saved for topical use).  All this is anecdotal,
but sesame oil is probably not as dangerous as some other ideas.  I've also
heard that some people have had good success with Acidophilus capsules (mom
takes 1-2 every day).  Acidophilus is available in a non-dairy base if that
is necessary
