RE:  Ellen McIntyre's comment - I too have recently been hearing a lot from
patients "EXACTLY how long does it take before the switch from foremilk to
hindmilk takes place during feedings?"  I find it an interesting concept that
they must think there are 2 faucets in the breast & they should feel one turn
off & the other turn on.  It never occurred to me to think of it that way.  I
wonder where they are getting it from.  I've been working with breastfeeding
families for 13 years, and this is a relatively new question.  Anyone seen
anything in the lay literature that would trigger such a thought?
