Diane W.-loved your post about Alaska. Would it not be wonderful to
be away from all the negatives
new Moms face when they choose to breastfeed.

I need to say that my youngest went nuts for solids! At 5 1/2 months
he was pulling food away from
my face. Given the fact we are an atopic family, I was being so
careful, one food at a time, one week
sometimes ten days with the same food.

Father's Day came and my husband was cooking Filet Mignon on the
grill on our patio. I walked outside
only to find him premasiticating the meat for Jason because he choked
on the piece he ate without Dad
chewing it for him!. Frozen banana, I used to give him those to
teeth on, watching carefully to take them
away when they got soft. Not Dad, he chewed them up and gave them to
baby.

It's primitive to some, for us, it was just practical! Donna
