To all my Jewish friends on line
I have a question. Could the difference in the way babies act after the
proceedure have something to do with the wine? My understanding is that the
baby is given a few drops of wine before the proceedure, at least it has been
in the ones I've attended.
On a side note, my OB trained at a Jewish hospital. He even has his own
*thing* (read: instrument) that freaked out the nurses 17 years ago. But when
I watched him so circumcisions and my son's --the baby is always very calm.
The way he does circumcisions seems more gentle than the thousands I've seen
in the hospital.
IMHO
