Hi, everyone. Please try harder, guys. We have been requested to make
abbrevations only after definition (eg, congestive heart failure (CHF)).
It is truly exasperating to have to run for a medical dictionary - and
even then not being able to find something. How would you feel if I
started writing in Hebrew or Roberta in Spanish? Again, Medicalese is a
foreign language for some of us. Kathleen B: what is BC/BS? Lisa Marasco:
what is GBS? (what a horrible story!) Kathy Dettwyler: what is ADHD? ADD
is attention deficit disorder - so what is this? Sorry for my impatience,
but this *has* been requested several times. Thanks for cooperating, Judy
