Although I have no references for this, I often see babies (both breast
and bottle fed) who are at the top of the growth charts or even above for
both height and weight, and it's genetic.  I'm willing to bet that that
6'5" father had the same pattern of growth as a baby.  Often I get just
that kind of history, and can reassure my parents.  Hope this helps.
