Just had my breastfeeding moms group at the Navy base here. One of the moms
suffers from arthritis in the cervical (neck) area. Her baby is 5 mos. old,
good size (hasn't had a weight recently). She is taking 800 mg Motrin qid. Her
MD tried to change her to other meds, but that is the only one that works.
She also finds she does better if she exercises (walking) daily - so one of the
other moms is going to start going with her to help reduce the Motrin - but for
now, she asked what were the risks to the baby.
What about long-term use of this???
