From my pharmacology courses just taken in nurse-midwifery school, it is
my understanding that lindane (Kwell) is a no-no for pregnancy,
breastfeeding, or infants/small children due to possible neurotoxicity.
However, permethrin (Elimite) is okay and I believe that Rid is also
considered okay.
