We all know what cows do all day, as do their calves who get the beta
casinomorphins (or whatever). Do we really want our babies to just lie
around all day chewing their cuds (or their pacifiers, as the case may be?)
Unfortunately, I think for many women, the answer would be yes - as long as
the baby is "content" and not crying, then sleeping is best -- even if they
aren't learning.

I wonder if bf babies are smarter cuz they are awake more so they learn more
about their world?
