Does anyone want to respond to this by private email? (I've already
replied to her directly and disabused her of the notion that I am a
lactation professional) This looks like an opportunity to educate
someone who might be in a position of power someday.

Rachael -
Actually, I'm writing to you because you mentioned in your post that you
were a lactation specialist and I was wondering if you can help me. I am
looking for references (articles, chapters, hearsay - almost anything!)
about oxytocin as a lactation inducer. While I know that it is used for
this, I can only find references to it being used as a labor inducer. The
one reference I did get was a medical textbook. I am in grad school at
Harvard and our med library had never heard of the book, nor had any other
library I tried. Anyway, to make a long question not any longer, do have
any references that might be useful, or a direction to point me in?
(please, please, please 8^}) Thanks for any help. Nancygail
