Breastmilk may stored in a refrigerator for 48-72 hours and unrefridgerated
for up to 8 hours. But, however, once breastmilk has been warmed, it should
not be reused. I suggest to my patients that they store breastmilk in small
servings (2 oz) so that they are less likely to waste any.
