Dear Roberta:
I am so excited to be one of the big winners! And an extra hour at the
ruins to boot...I am speechless--but not for long. How about a Lactnet
limerick contest--an all expense paid tour of Cincinnati, OH as the
prize--you pay only your airfare (a minor expense to be sure). The winner(s)
may stay at my house (I have a pleasant guest room and I'll come up with
clean towels, but you probably better not count on me to cook!)
For those unfamiliar with limericks--the first, second and fifth lines
rhyme, and the third and fourth lines rhyme. For example:
There once was a LC on Lactnet,
Whose client with plugged ducts was upset;
She'd suggested a warm compress
And rest on soft mattress,
But the client still found these no outlet.
(OK, it's pretty bad; but what can you expect for a five minute exercise?)
The contest is officially ON--unless Lactnet's tireless owners (KB and KGA)
ixnay it! Karen Gromada
