Tony,
My first son was also prescribed Tri-Vi_Flor 10 years ago. However, my
second sons Ped told me that it was no longer deemed neccessary (the
vitamins) in BF babies because they get all the vit's they need from the
breastmilk for at least their first 6 months, when most people start solids
and babies get more vit's. Flouride was prescribed at 6 months.
Personally, I wouldn't worry. If your baby is being BF then s/he is
probl'y fine. You didn't say how old baby is. My second son is 14 mo.
today, and he still does not get any vit's because he gets a variety of
solids, and still has breastmilk as 90% of his main diet. Believe me, he's a
healthy little boy! Well, actually he's not all that little! Weighs in at
about 30 lbs!
Anyone else?

Jay
