In my private practice, I have very very minimal reimbursement from Blue
Cross if, and that is a BIG if...they give prior approval for our services.
They have issued us a provider number..the first non licensed providers to
get an actual provider number in the state of Vermont. We don't actually
even have the number yet to direct bill. IT is in the works. The paperwork
is complete.
They hardly ever to give prior approval, however. It must be a
hospitalalized baby for over 5 days, which sort of cuts down on things
because we do not have hospital priviledges...so it is kind of a Catch 22
Major Major thing.
We are covered only when the moon is full, and blue, and ..and...do you get
my drift?
